In the first full-length episode of the Goldie On Ice Podcast, host and Florida Panthers’ television play-by-play voice Steve Goldstein talks with Sportsnet NHL reporter Elliotte Friedman about free-agent John Tavares leaving the New York Islanders to sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs and gets his thoughts on the Panthers’ newest winger Mike Hoffman, acquired in a mid-June trade with the San Jose Sharks.
Goldstein also sits down with the Panthers’ Director of Player Personnel Bryan McCabe for some insight into his job and career, AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds head coach Geordie Kinnear, and Riley Stillman, 2016 4th-round draft pick and son of former Panther Cory Stillman.
